About the event
We are hosting our very first pilot event! Do you ever wonder how your artistic skills are relevant to society at large? During this workshop, we will explore how creative work is a powerful medium for pursuing social and/or environmental activism. First, we present the power of art as a means of advancing social change. Second, we delve into an interactive discussion to understand the challenges in visualising sensitive and controversial content. Third, we offer a hands-on graphic design crash-course on Canva. Here you will develop your practical skills and learn how to use an important marketing tool as a creative medium. Join us to connect with our community and further know-how on social/environmental activism! At the end of the pilot workshop, your critical feedback and suggestions for improvement will go a long way in shaping the format of our upcoming events. With other words, we would love to have you there & hear what you think!
