The Mets got some much-needed good news on Marcus Stroman hip issue which forced him out of last night game after just one inning. The righty starting pitcher went for an MRI, and the results showed no significant issues. He is day-to-day, and judging by his tweets https://www.newprostoreonline.com/Kevin_Long_Face_Mask-272, he is feeling pretty confident overall. It remains to be seen if Stroman will need to miss any time, but at the very least it would seem that an extended absence is off the table for the time being. The Mets have already lost Joey Lucchesi to Tommy John surgery and are still waiting on Carlos Carrasco and Noah Syndergaard to get healthy, so they could ill-afford to lose another starting pitcher for any significant amount of time https://www.newprostoreonline.com/Luis_Guillorme_Pillow_Cover-295. Losing a starting pitcher of Stroman status would be especially devastating, as the impending free agent (who the Mets should strongly consider extending!) has been one of the best and most consistent players on the staff in 2021. With any luck, he will be back on the mound for the club before too long Gary Carter Hoodie.
